Bailout? — Or Pulling the Plug?

October 3rd, 2008

I have not yet made an opportunity to read the Fed Bailout language as I did the earlier versions. The read will be a Saturday project.

I have an uneasy feeling about it (not the reading, the bailing). As I have stated previously - the federal government is the least efficient way to do ANYTHING. That is why its purpose should be limited to the things that only a federal government can do (common defense, etc.).

For the most part, the US Congress is a collection of the most consummate scoundrels that this society can produce. Now they will be in charge of the clean-up cash-flow for a problem that they created in the first place.

More on this tomorrow.

In the meantime, Michelle Malkin seems particularly opinionated on the topic.
